Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

1. List three basic principles of AI language models, specifically ChatGPT, that impact psychology practice.
2. Identify how potential sociocultural variables, such as culture and education, influence AI prompts and responses.
3. Evaluate AI responses (e.g., ChatGPT) to identify potential biases in those responses related to sociocultural variables.
4. Apply at least one strategy to mitigate a response bias.
