Black, Indigenous and People of Color Affinity Group Monthly Meeting

Definition: BIPOC is a designated safe space for psychologists who share the identities of Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color. All who identify as BIPOC are invited to join.

Goals: To have and receive support, to create opportunities for action, provide resources, to shape conversations and establish partnerships (for example, with White ally development efforts, and other social justice efforts within and outside of FPA), and to work towards action-oriented goals. The long-term goal of this group is to help increase retention, and decrease burnout, among BIPOC psychologists.

Vision: Our vision is to have this affinity group meet once a month and be an on-going effort that will morph over time according to membership needs.

Open to all licensed psychologists and psychology doctoral students who identify as BIPOC.
