Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss empirically supported tools in understanding the impact of differing identities within interpersonal interactions in clinical settings.
  2. Apply proactive tools to frame conversations with clients, students/trainees, and colleagues in a way that promotes healthy conversations about differing identities.
  3. Utilize tools to navigate interpersonal conflict stemming from differing identities with the goal of creating repair within interpersonal relationships and greater insight.

Approved for 2 hours of general continuing education credits.
