Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  1. Identify behaviors on the Pathway to Violence.
  2. Describe the unique warning signs, risk factors, triggers, stressors, and behaviors in threat of harm to others.
  3. 3.Discuss violence risk assessment, involuntary hospitalization, and Extreme Risk Protection orders. 4. Utilize a multi-phased case study to identify relevant factors of risk of violence assessment.

Approved for 3 hour of professional ethics, FL laws and rules continuing education credits

Course Level: Intermediate
