Course Description: The Allyship is a Verb workshop is a 2-hour interactive training that explores internal and external strategies for engaging in allyship. The workshop will center on building a socially just work and clinical environment by analyzing the role of power and intersectional identities to help inform allyship actions. The workshop will also end with two breakout groups that will encourage participants to practice identifying points of harm, evaluating available approaches to enact allyship, deconstructing barriers to engagement, and taking action to disrupt harm. Break-out rooms will be used to apply internal and external strategies to real-life scenarios.
